Over 45 years of experience in conducting geological surveys. Previously served as director of the Geological Survey of Israel and in various positions in the Ministry of National Infrastructure. Established and managed the Oil Supervisor Unit, served as the Mining and Oil Commissioner and was the Head of the Natural Resources Administration. Yaakov holds an M.Sc. in Geology from the Hebrew University and in Structural Geology from the University of London, and a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds, England.
Founding partner, directing Northwood’s activities in Israel for over 9 years. Extensive experience in managing projects in the energy field. He managed and executed multi-national large-scale humanitarian projects in the Middle East, with a background in marketing and management in the field of international shipping and logistics.
Holds a B.A. in Accounting and Law from Tel Aviv University and is a Certified Public Accountant and lawyer with extensive and broad experience in the energy industry. Served as the CFO of GeoGlobal Resources Israel and, previously, served as a controller in the Israeli branch of General Electric.
Over 15 years of experience in project management and geo-environmental surveys. At REM, Raya is in charge of geological, environmental and regulatory matters. She holds an M.Sc. in Geology from Ben Gurion University and an academic background in Geophysics from the Academy of Oil and Gas in Moscow, Russia
Daniel has experience in managing and accompanying projects in the field of water and waste treatment systems and sustainability planning. She is also engaged in research and consultancy in the field of energy. At REM, Daniel is in charge of environmental engineering matters. She holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Technion, Haifa.
Holds an M.Sc. in Geology as well as an MBA from Ben Gurion University and an M.Sc. in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. A geologist and mining engineer, with extensive experience in the field of geological surveys, as well as the field of phosphates and oil shales, limestone and other materials. Has 15 years of experience in managing large mines and extensive experience in managing factories and manufacturing sites at Israel Chemicals.
Holds a degree in Engineering from the Lviv Polytechnic Institute (former USSR). He is a Heat and Power Engineer with over 45 years of experience in various international companies, including PAMA (Energy Resource Development). He is a senior lecturer and an independent consultant in the field of thermal systems and processes for various leading companies.
